Biography

Kenneth L. Kline, 77, of Millmont, entered into rest at 8:10 am, Monday, March 1, 2010 at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont.

He was born on January 17, 1933, in West Chillisquaque Twp, Northumberland Co., a son of the late Roy G. and Grace C. (Bowersox) Kline. On January 14, 1953 in Hagerstown, MD he married the former Isabel M. Dorman, who survives.

Kenny graduated from Milton High School, Class of 1951. Following graduation he served in the US Army Reserves until his honorable discharge in November of 1959.

He was a member of Christ’s United Lutheran (Four Bells) Church.

Kenny retired from the Laurelton State Center, working in the power plant as an electrical engineer.

Kenneth was a member of the Buffalo Valley Sportsman, NRA, and the North America Hunting Club.

He enjoyed woodworking, carpentry and deer hunting.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are a son and daughter-in-law; Scott A. and Debra Kline of Millmont, four daughters and three sons-in-law; Debra Woodling, Millmont, Pamela and Gary Cutler , Jr. of Beavertown, Sherri and Paul Klauger of Laurelton, Sandra and Troy Keiser of Milton, 14 grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers; Ralph and Robert Kline, and two sisters; Freida Chapel and Miriam Kerstetter.

Family and friends will be received from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Christ United Lutheran (Four Bells) Church, 13765 Old Turnpike Road, Millmont, and on Thursday from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m., the funeral will be conducted at 11 with the Rev. John D. Yost, officiating.

Interment will be in Hartleton Cemetery, Hartley Township, Union County.
